TOMORROW IN MANCHESTER: SHAHEEN TO THANK LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS ON ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF BOSTON MARATHON BOMBINGS

Earlier, Shaheen to tour Harbor Homes in Nashua

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) will meet with New Hampshire law enforcement officials who responded to the Boston Marathon bombings at 1:45 p.m. tomorrow in Manchester. On the first anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing which killed 3 people and injured more than 250, Shaheen will thank New Hampshire officials for their response to the tragedy and listen to the experiences of the responders.

Earlier, Shaheen will tour Harbor Homes in Nashua at 11:15 a.m. and receive an update on the work being done to provide New Hampshire veterans, low-income, homeless and disabled community members with affordable housing, primary and behavioral health care, employment and job training, and support services.  Shaheen will be briefed by Harbor Homes CEO, Peter Kelleher on its health care and veterans support programs and a $1 million federal grant Shaheen helped Harbor Homes secure last year.
