FRIDAY IN NEWTON: SHAHEEN TO ATTEND DEDICATION CEREMONY FOR HALO MARITIME DEFENSE SYSTEMS

Later, Shaheen attends roundtable discussion with New Hampshire realtors in Bedford Saturday, Shaheen to honor Korean War veterans at ceremony in Concord

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) will deliver remarks at a dedication ceremony for HALO Maritime Defense Systems (HMDS) in Newton on Friday, June 27th at 10:00 a.m. HMDS develops sea barriers to protect critical maritime infrastructure from waves, weather, and military attacks and will dedicate its new technical development center to the late Robert Bishop co-founder of HMDS and father of company co-founder & CTO, Justin Bishop.

Later, Shaheen will host a realtors roundtable in Bedford at 12:00 p.m. to discuss housing issues in New Hampshire. In addition to hearing from the realtors about their priorities, Shaheen will discuss the economic importance of New Hampshire’s housing market as well as her work to help keep Granite Staters in their homes.

On Saturday, at 2:00 p.m. in Concord, Shaheen will participate in a Welcome Home Korean War Veterans Ceremony - hosted by the State of New Hampshire and the Korean American Society of New Hampshire - to honor the members of the United States Armed Forces who served in Korea.
