On Senate Floor Shaheen Discusses Progress on COVID-19 Economic Legislation

Today, in a speech on the Senate floor, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) called for Congress to work together to deliver relief to American workers, small businesses, non-profits and hospitals grappling with pressing economic challenges as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Shaheen, a senior member of the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, has led bipartisan negotiations on measures to support small businesses with Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL), Ben Cardin (D-MD) and Susan Collins (R-ME).
