Senators call for New START ratification

Senator Shaheen on December 16, 2010, led a press conference in Washington urging ratification of the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty ("New START") in the current congressional session. Shaheen was joined by Senators Bob Casey (D-PA), Benjamin L. Cardin (D-MD), Dick Durbin (D-IL), and Chris Coons (D-DE).
