SHAHEEN AND COLLINS SPEAK ON SENATE FLOOR IN CALL FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION ON SEQUESTER

U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Susan Collins (R-ME) spoke on the Senate floor yesterday evening to once again call for immediate action to avoid the automatic, across-the-board federal budget cuts scheduled to take place March 1. Shaheen and Collins spoke about the devastating impact these cuts would have on the United States economy, national security and defense programs.
