SHAHEEN: HOUSE SHOULD WORK WITH SENATE ON LONG-TERM TRANSPORTATION BILL

Senator Shaheen called on the House of Representatives today to begin working with the Senate to produce a final version of a long-term federal transportation bill. Shaheen spoke specifically of the bill's importance to completing work on New Hampshire's badly congested Interstate 93. While a project to widen Interstate 93 is underway, its future remains uncertain without a long-term transportation bill in place. (April 25, 2012)
