Shaheen on Efforts to Undermine and Repeal the Affordable Care Act

During a Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Subcommittee hearing on the Trump administration's Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) budget request from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Senator Shaheen (D-NH) criticized efforts by the Trump administration to undermine and overturn the Affordable Care Act, and challenged HHS Secretary Alex Azar to work with Democrats to improve the law and expand access to quality, affordable health care.
