Shaheen Questions Top State Dept Official on Illegal Imprisonment of U.S. Citizen Amer Fakhoury

At a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing held on December 4, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), highlighted the case of Amer Fakhoury, a U.S. Citizen and New Hampshire resident who has been illegally imprisoned by the Lebanese government for months and is in critical condition, to Joey Hood, the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, at the U.S. Department of State.
