Shaheen Urges Opponents of Unemployment Benefits Extension to Step Aside, November 2, 2009

Senator Shaheen urged the opponents of the extension to stop playing politics and pass the Unemployment Compensation Extension Act. The bill would provide at least 14 weeks of assistance for the nearly 2 million Americans who will exhaust their unemployment benefits by the end of the year.
