Shaheen, Ayotte Announce New Hampshire Military Service Academy Day

U.S. service academy representatives available Saturday, May 7 in Concord

(Washington, DC) —U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), both members of the Senate Armed Services Committee, invite New Hampshire students interested in attending any of the country’s military service academies to attend the New Hampshire Military Service Academy Day on Saturday, May 7 in Concord. 

The event will feature representatives from the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. They will be available to provide information and answer questions from interested students.  Staff representatives for Senators Shaheen and Ayotte, Congresswoman Annie Kuster and Congressman Frank Guinta will also be available to answer questions about obtaining service academy nominations.

To be considered for appointment to a service academy, applicants must be nominated by a Member of Congress or other authorized nominating source.
