SHAHEEN ANNOUNCES SARAH HOLMES AS NEW STATE DIRECTOR

(Washington, DC) – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) announced today that Sarah Holmes, a long-time advisor and current Special Assistant for Policy and Projects, will assume the role of Acting New Hampshire State Director effective Monday, January 20.  Starting next week, current State Director Mike Vlacich will begin overseeing Shaheen’s re-election campaign.

“Community leaders and people across New Hampshire know Sarah for her hard work and dedication to the Granite State, and I am excited for her to take on this important role,” Shaheen said. “I look forward to her ongoing service and support for my efforts to help create New Hampshire jobs, strengthen our small-businesses, and grow our state’s middle-class.”

“Over the last five years Mike built and led a team that has provided fantastic services to thousands of constituents needing help to cut through the red tape of federal agencies. He always set a great example for others by showing that we are here to serve. We will miss Mike in the Senate office, but thankfully he won’t be far away,” Shaheen added.

Holmes has worked for Shaheen for five years, is a New Hampshire native and University of New Hampshire graduate. She will be based in both Shaheen’s Manchester and Dover state offices.
