Shaheen Delivers Remarks at the New England Council’s Washington Update Highlighting Legislative Wins for New Hampshire

Shaheen delivered remarks on recently passed legislation and discussed future policy priorities to benefit Granite Staters. 

(Manchester, NH) — Today, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) delivered remarks on recent legislative accomplishments for New Hampshire at the New England Council’s Washington Update. Shaheen discussed recently passed legislation, such as the bipartisan infrastructure law, the CHIPS and Science Act, the Inflation Reduction Act and the PACT Act, as well as future policy priorities to benefit New Hampshire and the nation during the next session of Congress.

“I was glad to join the New England Council today to discuss how critical policy wins like the PACT Act, CHIPS and Science Act and bipartisan infrastructure law that I helped negotiate benefit Granite State communities,” said Shaheen. “I look forward to continuing to work with members of the New England Council to advocate for New Hampshire’s needs during the next Congress.”

The New England Council is the nation’s oldest regional business organization, comprising of businesses and organizations across the six New England states. Members represent a wide variety of industries and sectors, including energy, financial services, health care, higher education, technology, telecommunications and transportation.
