Shaheen Statement on Resignation of SBA Administrator Linda McMahon

(Washington, DC) – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), a member of the Senate Small Business & Entrepreneurship Committee, issued the following statement in response to the resignation of Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Linda McMahon:

“Small businesses are the engine of our economy in New Hampshire and the SBA plays a crucial role in helping them thrive. I thank Administrator McMahon for her service and have appreciated working with her to address the many obstacles our small businesses face in New Hampshire and across the country,” said Shaheen. “When she was in New Hampshire, Administrator McMahon was responsive to the concerns she heard from our small business community on important issues, including access to capital, support for federal contracting opportunities and promoting small business exports abroad. It’s imperative that the next Small Business Administrator also remain committed to these priorities, which are vital to Granite State entrepreneurs.”
