6th annual Experience New Hampshire reception highlights Granite State businesses, restaurants and goods

(Washington, DC) – This evening, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and the New Hampshire State Society welcomed more than 50 New Hampshire businesses, restaurants and vendors to Capitol Hill for the sixth annual Experience New Hampshire reception. The annual event gives Granite State businesses the opportunity to showcase their products and services for policymakers and government officials in Washington.

“Granite Staters already know about the many tremendous offerings of our state, and Experience New Hampshire is a great opportunity to share some of the best of what New Hampshire has to offer with folks in Washington,” Shaheen said. “Tourism is one of our most important industries and the incredible displays by tonight’s participants will encourage people to come experience New Hampshire firsthand. I want to thank the New Hampshire State Society and everyone who helped make this event possible.”

New Hampshire businesses and organizations offered handmade foods and drinks from restaurants, inns, vineyards, breweries and culinary schools from across the state to the more than 400 guests in the Kennedy Caucus Room in the Russell Senate Office Building. Attendees included U.S. Senators and Representatives, and other federal government officials.

The event was hosted by the New Hampshire State Society, BAE Systems, Comcast, Eversource, FairPoint Communications, Fidelity Investments, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Marriott, New England Council, Sparton, Texas Instruments, and Velcro USA.
